Yasmin Birth Control...can I take it without having to talk to my doctor?

Forget about getting a prescription and forget about advising me to see a doctor. My periods are really really irregular and I know I"ll have problems when its time to get pregnant. But I wanna have and not worry about getting pregnant right now. Soooo just tell me...I wont die or damage anything if I just took the tablets now, would I? Thanks!
