What's that movie about a 50s tv show?

I remember watching a movie a few years back about a brother and sister(?) and they got trapped inside a 50s tv show and everything's fake and everyone in the show is kind of dumb, but they teach people how to do things. ex. the firemen put out a fire. any idea what it's called?
