When you insure your mortgage and then the dole say what the bank gives you to pay the mortgage is cled?

It is unfortuante, but this is what tax man says. It is just like they even tax on the inheritance income. The govt. have absolutely no justification for that either, but than we console ourselves that ultimately it will benefit us by 'recycle'.
