Can i get a cat with 2 dogs?

My friend is a real animal lover and has lots of dogs and 1 cat. None of the dogs mind the cat at all and they will happily just walk past each other. I think she just had to be stern with the dogs and in the end they grow used to each other. Although she did have her cat before the dogs which might make a difference. Hope i helped.
